A Birthday Tradition Turned To Wedding Planning

For several years, as a birthday celebration, Tina took CJ to Victoria for a weekend away.  The combined love for Britain and the closeness of the destination (so close, yet so far away,) made it the perfect way to escape Seattle.  Dog parks, old castle manors, and pubs galore.  With no shortage of ways to get there and no lack of things to do Victoria does not fail to disappoint.

So after searching far and wide for a wedding venue we decided a castle sure would be fun. Completely by chance, Pinterest revealed not only a castle that hosted weddings, but one that was right in our backyard and favorite weekend getaway location. One visit, and we were sold.
